Infant shoes? Do you think there is a time when infants need shoes on? What I mean is, if an infant doesnt walk or crawl yet, do you think there is any occasion they absolutely need shoes?

Why is it so hard to find shoes for infant and toddler boys? I trying to find some soft shoes for my son to wear, just to keep his feet covered at daycare. Retailers have rows and rows of shoes for infant and toddler girls, but only have 2 or 3 choices if any for boys.

Tips for style or brand of infant/toddler shoes for a child with thick feet? My 10 month old has thick feet and I've been having a difficult time trying to find shoes that fit him properly. It seems like I have to buy shoes that are a size too big or else his feet won't go down in them, and then he just pulls them off. He's just starting to walk, so I'd like to have shoes for him for outdoors -- inside he just goes in socks or barefoot. Any suggestions?
Infant/Toddler walking shoes, why are they so expensive? Does the brand of infant/toddler walking shoes make much of a difference. I try to let me daughter walk barefoot at home, but at daycare she has to wear shoes. I don't see the point in buying shoes at stride rite that costs $45.00 (which I've already done and am still pissed about). Am I a bad mommy for buying her little tennis shoes at payless or target?

Does anyone know where I can find Snow Baby brand infant/toddler shoes? My daughter has a pair of soft soled shoes that she wears to Day Care every day. They are getting too small and we have searched high & low for a new pair. I cannot find them anywhere - we originally got them brand new from a second hand store. They are soft cloth all over with the words Snow Baby on the top with a snowflake - they have a single tab at the back that also has a snowflake. Difference between infant and toddler shoes?!? My son is a year old and now that Fall is here he cannot be shoeless lol. He wears a size four shoe...but whats the difference between toddler and infant sizes??? Infant shoes that are tied on? The other day in the mall I saw a very young baby with ( I want to say lace ) that was tied on her feet in the shape of shoes. It was the second time I've seen this, AND since I have a baby girl... I NEED TO KNOW WHERE TO GET THEM!! :) Does anybody have a clue what I'm talking about? philosophy behind infant shoes? i dont get baby shoes (for babys not walking). i lived with my cousin she would put the shoes on her baby and 10 min later they were off. and they were so annoying/frustrating/hard to put on to begin with. and every time we changed her it was a 10 min process between getting them on and off. she even kicked one off at the mall and it is gone forever. there goes 10 bucks. i got about 6 pairs of infant shoes as gifts when i had my son. where is he going that he needs the shoes for? i guess for a formal picture you cant just wear socks b ut do you know how long it took me to find a formal shoe and how much it cost when i did? are they hoping that sometime soon a newborn is going to walk?? i started walking at 8 months so i see why they make shoes for babys 6 months + but why newborns?

Where can I find WHITE or KHAKI colored infant size croc shoes? I've previously posted this question and was told Target. I was there today...they do not have croc shoes in either tiher infant or shoe department. I've also tried Shopko/Pamida, Wal-Mart, Payless Shoes, Kmart and shoes.com I don't want to pay a lot... any suggestions??
