toddler games? i have a 21 month old who can not say alot of words or talk well.does anyone know of some games that will help to devolp speech she can not sit still long enough to read a book or use flash cards so what kind of game could help her learn to talk better and expand her vocabulary?or how could i get her to sit still long enough to read a book or look at the flash cards?

I play play-doh, video games, hide&seek, toys, cars, coloring, reading, puzzels,play on the computer on noggin or nickjr, play with electronic memory match toys... he does enjoy tv shows too, but educational like blues clues, diego, wonder pets, backyardigans, etc.. we'll go outside and he'll ride his bike, play in the sandbox, recently go in the pool, play with his ball, water plants, swing, play baseball, hulahoop, frisbie and jump on the trampoline with me.. I just dont have any NEW/DIFFERENT ideas.. What do you and your toddler do during the day at home?Is there something he/she likes the most?Is there something you enjoy the most? Are there any activities that you would recommend the most? Any suggestions on kids games for a toddler Halloween party? I'm having a Halloween party for my 2 year old son and his friends. Most of the kids will range from 18 months to 7 years old with the majority being 2. I'm planning on having a "witch hunt" where I will make little decorated baggies with treats and hide them in the backyard like Easter eggs and have the kids look for them. Any advise on good toddler games I can play with my little one??? I have a 2 year old and we are board! I use to know so many kid songs and knew what kind of games to play but that was a long time ago when I was younger I am not old now but I am 36 with a 2 year old and a 8 month old so I am a little lost when it comes to somethings like this. We sing the same 3 or 4 songs all the time. She does not complain obout the same ol same ol but she does have a mind like a sponge and I need to keep adding new stuff!! We read books Everyday, When I say books I mean books We can't stop with just 2 or 3 she loves them but we do need something new. I will continue to read to her but we really need some ideas on some games and some new songs. And 1 more thing, How do you survive the terribable two's. I am a stay home mom so we really got to do something to change things up a little. Summer reading program was good while it lasted

Can anybody suggest games and activities to boost toddler language development? I have a 22-month old daughter who I read to and talk to all the time. She listens very well and follows through when I tell her to do something, like "pick up your toys and put them in the toy box", but she doesn't talk much. She can say a few things like "Here you go" and "Thank You", but not much more.
