PLEASE HELP-Need Words/Poems For My Baby Girl?

well here's the story-i've got a baby girl turned 1 the other week but i got told i couldn't see her. i've never met her before in my life and it kills me to think that. her mum has her 7hours away and i couldn't see her even if i made that journey, but i can't say why.

basically, i keep a box for her. every birthday and christmas i get something and put it in that box so that she knows that i didn't not want her in my life but i couldn't have her. i'm thinking of putting something in that box that explains how i feel about her, something like the lyrics from the song 'the letter-elton john' can someone help?
