What is travelling with an infant like with all the new screening procedures?

I am curious with the new body scanners/ pat downs in airports if my infant daughter will be required to go through the body scanner, or do a pat down? If we go through the body scanner, can I hold her during the process? I am kind of worried how this will all work. I have only ever had to go through a metal detector with her, but I have not yet been through the body scanners or pat downs with her yet.

1. In most airports there will be no difference. In most places, if the body scanners are used, they are only used when you fail the traditional metal detector screening.

Remember children 5&under can bring juice and milk through security.

2. if they try to scan her with your hand luggage have a fit. as long as you do not come up suspicious there should be no problem, she may get a pat down for arms, bombs shives
