How old do you have to be to carry an infant on Singapore Airlines?
My mother had twins and we need to go back to our own country, the flight is 10 hours, I'm 15. As my mother has twins will I be able to take one myself or will we have to leave one behind? Singapore Airlines has a policy about infants, " One infant to one person".

1. Adult
2. old as dirt?
3. I have been told that its one infant to one adult, Now the question being what does adult mean? If you are old enough to fly alone, then you are old enough to take an infant. It's like I was told when I first started working with the airlines. Who are we to say that the 15 year old is not the mother of the child.
4. Since technically, you are no longer considered a "child" by their fares, you should be considered an adult and therefore able to hold one of the babies. Strictly speaking, you also are old enough to have a baby yourself, I don't see how they could forbid it. There are some restrictions as to seating arrangements on certain aircraft but as an ex-Flight Attendant, I can say that the bigger plane you'll probably be flying will be alright. We only had one aircraft that two lap babies couldn't sit.
Singapore airlines says on their site; "Please arrange directly with your local SIA office if you are travelling alone with 2 infants, as special arrangements are required."

Your other alternative is to buy a ticket for at least one of the babies. Unfortunately, the car seats have to face forward and if the baby is really small, you might be be able to install the seat that way.
Call them.
I wrote an article on flying with children a few years ago. I base it on both my 13 years of flying with 2 airlines and now as a passenger with three children on many transatlantics and local flights. I'm not selling anything. It's only to help out other parents. Feel free to share this link with your mom.
