How many sidesnap shirts and newborn gowns should I get for my baby?

I know I'm not supposed to have her wear onesies until her umbilical cord falls off. How many sidesnap shirts and newborn gowns should I buy? Thanks!

1. Honestly...as many as possible!!!! That is what a newborn wears the most! Plus its much easier for a quick diaper change especially when they're hungry! I think that babies just look a lot more comfortable in the nightgowns...:)

2. 5-10 should do it they outgrow the newborn size so quickly it would be a waste to buy too many.
