How do you keep your toddler occupied while cleaning. I have a lot to do tomorrow?

Including spending time with my toddler, but I really really need to get my spare room a bit organized. Last time I cleaned my spare room she was easier to occupied, I put the gate up in her doorway and let her play in her room. Now she is so destructive she would probably tare her room apart while in there causing me to clean another room.
She's 20 months old.

1. i used to sit her up in front of the tv and put a disney movie on with a few toys around her and a blanket, she always fell asleep if i didn't answer to her. good luck

2. hahahaa! Let her help you clean! Or give her things to play with that she normally wouldnt have, like pots and pans, spoons, or anything from that room your cleaning to make her feel involved! Let her sweep for you, or give her a damp cloth with NO cleaner on it, and let her wipe. My 2 year old LOVES to help Mumma! Let her throw things in the trash for you, make a empty box a game, by throwing a ball, or even socks into the box!

3. put the tv on for her
let her choose a movie to watch

4. I put my son in his high chair with some snacks in front of the tv if Im in the living room, if im in the kitchen i set him up in there with me and turn on the radio! I wait till his nap to clean my bedroom or bathroom.

5. Well, does she like to help clean? My daughter, (the neighbors call her the destoryer) likes to help me clean everyday, shes 27 months.
But when there are times that she doesnt want to and all she wants to do is drag stuff out and make a HUGE mess of what Ive already cleaned or put away, Ill get her high chair and bring it into the room Im in and set her in it and let her color, or play with clay or sometimes even munch on a snack or her choice. Now given, she does get restless in it after a while, but I just calmly talk to her, sometimes I put on some music and will sing and kinda dance while Im cleaning, to keep her entertained, given I probably look hilarious, but thank god no one has ever seen me do it, but it does help.
