What activities will keep my toddler busy on the plane ride?
I hear buying new activities and hiding them until on the plane trip, pull out and give to your toddler to play is a good idea.
Any good activities to buy for her to keep busy??
She will be 2 at that time.
Thanks!

1. Coloring, reading, go fish, and barbies all keep little kids busy. What does she like to do? If she likes toys buy her some barbies or dolls, also bring her favorite stuffed animals to keep her busy.
2. Depending on what she's into and how long the ride is, you may not need as much as you think. We took our daughter on a 5 hour flight when she was 2.5 and most of time she was entertained by being in some place new.
We took with us a few books (some new, some favorites), a small pad of paper and some colored pencils, a few new small toys, and a fully-charged BlackBerry with a few of her favorite Backyardigan's episodes and her favorite music. There was a small selection of videos and movies on the plane, but it was nice to be able to count on having a show she liked.
3. -Silly putty is good, especially if it's the farting kind, because it doesn't make a mess but is fun to play with. Play dough is not so good because it does tend to be a bit of a mess to clean up.
-paper and crayons are always a good choice
-Maybe include some washable stampers
-If she has a favourite stuffed animal or doll, bring it
-New books to read to her
-Bring a puppet who can talk to her and make her laugh
-Ear phones because they usually have a TV (depending on the length of your flight)
-Pillow if it's a long flight
-Board game "Snail Race", she's definitely old enough to play, as it's aimed at that age, and it's quite fun, and you can have as many rounds as you want
Go to your local Early Learning Centre and pick out some little toys like toy cars and trains as well. It really depends on what your child likes to do, so it's hard for me to say.
4. Yes, weused to do this for plane and long car trips. Her age?...a box of band-aides (takes a tot a long time to open and peel them), new coloring, small thing of playdoh, books, and whatever her favorites are that are quiet. You can wrap the smaller items...unwrapping also gives them something to do.
5. what does she do at home that you can bring along? bring those.
6. My son had a little back pack that he carried and it was full of new toys - magazine, colouring stuff - a little tub of farmyard animals, etc - I brought out a new thing every so often, it went pretty well. Good luck.
