What age can a child start to use a toddler bed?
At what age can a child use a toddler bed? I have a about to be 4 month old but i am preg and my next child will be born when my little girl is 11 months. Will she still be to small to use a toddler bed. I was just thinking of buying instead of buying another crib.

1. When the baby can get in and out of the crib its time to get a toddler bed, so they don't fall out.
11 mos old is still an infant. You got Irish twins girl ya might need another crib.
2. i think 11 months is too young for a bed, unless she can get out of it safely , and doesnt move all over the place like my son does (she might fall out)
i think you will need another cot, or maybe get a moses basket for now as baby can sleep in there for probably around 3 months, then your daughter will be 14 months and may be more ready for a bed, and if not you can buy a cot then instead.
3. That's a bit young, but you might be able to get away with a bassinet for the baby for the first 3-4 months and move your daughter out of the crib then when shes 14-15 months or get a convertible crib that will turn into a toddler bed and then a big bed.
4. It depends on the toddler bed, some toddler beds have gaps that would make them unsafe for a baby. However some babies can climb out of cribs at 12 months so they get put either on a mattress on a floor or a toddler bed.
5. when my daughter was born my son was 11 months old lol I kept my daughter in my bed for about a month, then i gave her the crib and my son (12 months by then) a twin bed. Never bothered with a toddler bed, but if he could sleep in a twin then a toddler bed would have been no problem. I think it really depends on the child though, he is a very "still" sleeper. If he was all over the place during the night it could have posed a problem.
