What techniques to improve your chance in having a baby girl?

My sister and her husband have 4 boys ranging from 5-14 years old.
She's happy with her wonderful boys.

But she always wanted a baby girl. Do you guys know any techniques that will improve her chance in conceiving a baby girl?

We both know that baby's gender is totally random, but when someone keep having the same gender baby every-time she's pregnant that is well sad i guess. I feel so bad for my sister. Everytime we went shopping together she always goes to the baby girl's department and look at the clothes. :-(

1. There is no technique to a boy or girl, it's the semen that tell if its a boy or girl. Say if one of the sperm were a boy sperm and another was a girl. Whichever sperm gets there first (the boy sperm) then a boy is born after 9 months. If the girl sperm got to the egg first then a girl is born after 9 months.

2. Unfortunatly there really is know what to improve having a girl except to pray hard day and night lol!
I'm sure a lot of people wish they could choose what they wanted but sadly thats not they way things work!

3. your best chance is to get an ovulation tester or just google signs of ovulation, such as slightly raised body temp cervical mucus etc, then have sex two to three days before ovulation, male sperm swim faster but don'tt live as long, so the egg needs to be far away and then when the egg comes down only female sperm will be present to fertilise the egg. female sperm can live for up to three days. Google it, there are also positions meant to promote girls baby, something without deep penetration so sperm have to swim further and thus more male sperm die along the way, also female orgasm can make the environment more suited to male sperm so avoid that too, there are also foods that can influence acidity of the vagina, google that as well, I did it ages ago and forget most of it. I am currently 7 and a half months pregnant with what i hope is a girl but have to wait until the birth to be sure, hope this helps

4. oh dear, only God decides what baby to give, either a boy or a girl. but as a joke they say you gotta have sex in a standing position then it would be a girl. hehe but dont believe in it. im sorry for your sister but we cant always have what we want. we just gotta be happy with what we have to be contented :)

5. There is a thing called the 'Shettles' method which she could try. It is supposed to improve your chances of having one particular gender (but obviously is not definite). It is based on the research that shows that "girl" sperm swim slower but live longer, and "boy" sperm swim faster but die quicker.

So, if you want to have a girl, you should have sex a couple of days before ovulation (if you ovulate around day 14 of your cycle, then day 10-12) as sperm can live in your fallopian tubes for up to 5 days (apparently). If you have sex a few days before ovulation then the "boy" sperm will have likely died off by the time the egg arrives, leaving the "girl" sperm to fertilise the egg released by ovulation.

I hope this makes sense! I really wanted a girl with our first, and followed the method and we had our daughter in 2008. We tried for a boy using the same method and our son was born in 2010!

7. you can definetly increase the chances, a wonderfull website that has helped many women its called ingender our ph balance and diet play a massive roll in the gender we concive to have a girl ph must be under 5 she must skip breakfast, tomatoes,salt, bananas, potatoes,caffine, basically live off lots of bread, pasta, cheese, yogerts, diet drinks, as this all makes cervical mucas girl friendly as girls can survive hard times boys are weaker so if your body is under nurished its more likey to conceive a girl there are no g-tee she will have a girl but if she can lower her ph and eat only 2 meals a day loose weight sways girl also and cardio exercise soooo much more info on ingender and its all free!!!
