Where to shop for new-born baby girl clothes?

I'm expecting in February and I have all her stuff, except her clothes. Not sure where to look for clothes, but I don't want her wearing all pink and purple.

1. You should really look at walmart! They have really cute inexpensive clothes!!!! Gordmans is also a really good store!

2. Really look into thrift stores, you can get stuff that's brand name with the tags still on for 1/2 the price. And wait to buy clothes. We were expecting a big baby since my husband and I were both 9 lbs, and only bought 0-3 month clothes, and she was 7 lbs and didn't fit into anything and had to go buy nb. But my friend's baby went straight into 0-3. Plus, you'll probably receive a lot of clothes the closer it gets to baby time.

3. Look for second hand stores in your area! You get great deals, and the babies grow so quickly., they are practically brand new. We started taking our son's stuff there on consignment, and it builds pretty quickly, we turn it in for new clothes, however, some stores offer cashback. Lots of variety in his closet, as its cheaper than many stores.

4. Target has a lot of different varieties in clothing. You can also try the children's place, or my favorite babyrus they have the cutest outfits ever!!!

5. Definitely not Wal-Mart. I think most of their baby clothes look very cheap and they do not have much of a selection. They do have some cute one piece footed sleepers and I have bought my daughter some of those, but as far as clothes for daytime out of the house wear, I definitely would not recommend Wal-Mart. I buy most of my daughter's clothes at Macy's, Baby Gap, Gymboree, Dillard's, and baby boutiques for her dressy things. They do outgrow things fast so I try to find some of her things on sale. Babies R Us sometimes has some cute things that are very inexpensive but don't look that cheap. I would recommend buying 7 or 8 onesies, 10 pair of socks, 5 or 6 footed sleepers, 7 or 8 cute outfits, and 3 or 4 dressy outfits to get you started. Then as baby grows you can go shopping for more. Congrats on your baby!

6. Not Walmart! little selection and an all-around bad company. Not Sears (nothing cute there!) Try a thrift store or Macy's! Congrats on the baby!
