What would be a great 1st birthday gift to a baby girl from Grandparents?

My in-laws are asking me what gifts they should buy for my baby girl's 1st birthday. Any suggestions?

1. how about a starting a college savings fund. it will pay in the end

2. Definitely some kind of money savings. Don't put it off, because before you know it the kid will be 18 and have no money.

3. Is there anything you NEED for the baby that you can't afford to get? Or something that you plan to get in the near future for her? If you are okay finacially, then open a savings account for her. Let them know that maybe an outfit and a small deposit into the savings account would be perfect.

4. I asked for some non-toy items from people who asked me what they should buy. We bought our daughter a chair just for her for her first birthday last week. She just loves it! She is soo cute sitting in it like a big girl!!
