Does anyone know of a good genuine cause or charity that I can donate baby clothes to?

I am based in the Limerick/Tipp area and I have a lot of lovely baby girl clothes, some never even worn and I want to donate them to a good, proper cause. Would any good charity chain shops do? Or does anyone know if I can put them into those purple clothes banks that are situated next to the bottle and tin recycling banks that are around the country? Cheers!

1. I would always choose Oxfam for any type of clothing

2. Vincent de paul

3. Drop them in your local Irish Cancer Shop, Gorta or Oxfam. The bins next to the recycling centres are OK but often people dump rubbish in them and ruin the clothes, very sad.

Please don't "donate" them to companies that offer to collect clothes, these are profit making companies drop flyers though letter boxes but they sell the clothes on to 3rd world countries, they are not charities.

4. If you dont find a location to place them at. Im 26 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. My husband and I wouldn't mind taking it off your hands either. Im in school full-time and my husband is currently in Iraq. Thanks and Good Luck!

5. If there's a local women's shelter (women escaping from domestic violence), then bring them there. Your donations will be very gratefully received

6. oxfam is really good, or im sure if you get in touch with the ispcc they'd be very willing to take them

7. oxfam is always a good one

8. Charity shops would be delighted to get them, and as they will sell them there, they will be benefiting local shoppers, and if the charity has local projects (like Vincent de Paul and many of the others) it gets to use the money there - so win win all around.

My town has no charity shop, but 2 bigger towns nearby have several, including those supporting local needs and others fundraising for projects further away, both national and international (like Oxfam).
