Peace signs on baby girl clothes, but camouflage (army style) on boys clothes?

At stores I see this quite a bit. I think this is a little wierd. What exactly are they trying to say? So girls are supposed to be more towards peace and boys aren't.

What do you think of this? Or is it just all about the style?

1. The old american dream was about immigration, when an american family settled their views was on the future of their kids, the male child usually grew up and joined the military at one point (remember we're talking 18th century here) and the woman child would grow up supporting the troops, now it's not an american theme (it's Canadian) the peace sign usually states that we are peace keepers and the whole reason we put them on baby clothing is to symbolize the 18th century american dream. also I think some people think it's a fashion statement, and they also think it has nothing to do with the 18th century, believe what you believe.

2. I think you are looking too much into it. I have seen plenty of girls clothes with camouflage on them.
