Help with baby girl clothes sizing?

I was at walmart tonight and looking for some new things for my DD as it is getting warmer. She is currently in 6-9 months but growing out it all (she is 8 1/2 months). I did not see one thing (I mean NOTHING) in 9-12 months. Is there no 9-12 or is she supposed to just jump straight to 12 months clothing? I don't know if she will fit the 12 month clothing yet as I haven't tried, but should I be looking for 9-12 months clothes or just buy 12 months?

1. I do know wal-mart does not have 9-12 months. Try Target or Kohls that have 9-12 months. The brand Carter's is a great place to start. Good luck.

2. ive never seen a size 9-12 months clothing in boys or girls.

they go from 6-9 months then jump to 12 month size. its strange, but true.
youd think baby clothes designers would make a 9-12 month size, but nope!

3. As I understand it, 9-12 month and 12 month are the same. 3 month would be the same as 0-3, 6m is the same as 3-6, etc. After 9 months, most companies do not provide ranges. I would not even go by the age...instead look to see what height and weight the clothing is supposed to fit.

The only companies I have seen that still do ranges at that age are Gap and Old Navy --- but the ranges are 0-3, 3-6, 6-12, 12-18 & 18-24. There is no 9-12m.

4. to think about it I have never seen 9-12 months also. It's usually 6-9. I would just buy 12 months and let it be a little big. You roll up the sleeves or pants a little. My daughter's a little too small for 9 months but some 6 months are getting too small so we just roll it up. She a year next Monday. We actually get our money's worth since she's growing a little on the slow side. GL

5. Get the 12 month clothes there. Stores doesn't sell clothes that says 9-12 months on the tags.

6. Dear u should always buy 12 month clothes for your baby. she is already 8 months old and 9-12 month old kids generally have same size so go for 9-12 months.

7. 12 months IS 9-12 months. Just like 18 months is 12-18 months.
