1. depends where you live. you need to take a day and "window shop" make sure you look at couplons also. ihave always had good luck at JCPenny. they always have coupons and great specials.

2. Not sure what to tell you, as I love Babies R Us and have bought lots of stuff from there......JCPenney's has awesome sales and so does Dillard's (I can definitely only afford their clothes on sale lol). Target has cute stuff, I've gotten a bit of stuff from there, I've also ordered a lot from boutiques online, if you really look around you can find some handmade adorable stuff relatively reasonable. I've also won a lot of stuff (new with tags) on ebay!!!! If you have a Carter's or Burlington Coat Factory anywhere nearby they also usually have pretty good sales and so does the Children's Place :) Good luck on your quest....I've been doing the same thing!!!

3. I dont know how you are about used clothes but you can go to the Thrift store or second hand store and you can get some really cheap clothes. But if you want new clothes you can try going to Sears. Sometimes they have sales on their baby clothes and you can get some nice clothes for less than $10.

4. Babies r us is expensive and they take advantage. I don't know how you feel about used stuff, but the salvation army or good will has lots of really cheap stuff and no one will know you got it used. Just keep in mind your cutie will only be in the stuff for a few months and then you'll have to buy more stuff and replace every thing. Wash it and your good to go. My son wears big name brand stuff and no one knows I got it used for a hair of the true price. Ross has stuff too, shoes are the best to get there because they're name brand, but for off brand prices. Walmart doesn't have the quality aspect and really they aren't cheaper if you really do the math. Hope this helps.
