1. It takes a long time with all the paper work and legal stuff. You cant just go there on vacation or whatever and bring a baby back. It cost alot of money also.

2. You can pick one up at Walmart for under $100.00. Keep in mind that it's a product from China. So, the quality won't be worth a damn. But, if you must choose To Fu over Prime Rib. It's your choice.

Besides, there's so many of them here, you could probably buy one in California or Seattle.

3. Check out this website, it has some useful info. Good luck. xx I think they are strict about couples adopting (minimum 2 years marriage). Since you are single you may have problems. (However, Kazakhstan, Russia and Vietnam allow single parent adoptions according to this site)

4. You'll need to go through an adoption agency, which will work with the government -- be prepared for plenty of red tape. They'll need to ensure you're qualified to adopt and locate a child or children that would be an appropriate fit. All of this gets pretty complicated, and there are fees at different stages of the process. It's worth it when you finally have the child, but just be prepared for a year or two of shuffling paperwork back and forth. The first step is the contact an agency that has connections to China (most agencies specialize in just one country).
